Sabyasachi Lehenga is the ultimate dream that comes to one’s mind when looking for a wedding lehenga. Guess what? it’s an absolute task to find the ideal lehenga for your wedding and that is precisely why I’m here.
I remember being hooked to my socials for days on end when our B-town queens: Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma got married, I simply couldn’t get enough of their Sabyasachi™ bridal fits.
Featuring swoon-worthy designs, regal zari work, and impeccable taste, there indeed can be no better option than a Sabyasachi lehenga for your perfect bridal outfit. However, given that Sabyasachi has no online stores (and the few that do sell Sabyasachi don’t have the entire collection) it can be difficult for brides like you to get a prior feel of the styles you want to try on.
But worry not for this is exactly why I have this article for you where I present to you, the most sought-after bridal lehengas from Sabyasachi. Once you decide on a style, you can visit their nearest flagship stores and take it further from there.
List of Sabyasachi Lehenga for your Wedding
Charbagh Sabyasachi Lehenga- The Chowk Collection.
2019’s winter collection was named Charbagh, and the chowk collection was one of its four arms. The collection was inspired by how rural women dress, it’s bold, stands out but at the same time is simple.
It features myriad hues and colours and exquisite prints. It’s for brides who wish their wedding look to speak of desh ki mitti. The entire chowk collection reeks of originality, authenticity, and ethereal beauty. Pair it with chunky uncut stone jewellery, huge Maang tikas and preferably a nude makeup look and there you are.

Kesri Pannalal Sabyasachi Lehenga- White lehenga
There has been a growing demand for unconventional colours in wedding lehengas from brides recently, and white stands at the top but unfortunately, there aren’t a lot many options available in this colour. ( I speak from experience as I found this Sabyasachi Lehenga after scrolling through approximately 1077 photos. )
This white lehenga is splendidly hand-embroidered with silk-floss, beaten silver thread and studded with semi-precious stones, beads and pearls.
A Modern Heirloom Sabyasachi Lehenga

Bohemian Lehengas are a great choice for anybody who’s looking into hand-painted and printed options. The fabric being Indian pure silk gives an immaculately classy vibe. The a la mode of this outfit is the brand’s famous Akash tara dupatta which flaunts delicate zardozi work on chiffon.

Akash Tara Saree
An Indian wedding is a day-long affair and preparations start right from the engagement ceremony. In fact, you might even want to gift your bridesmaids a few.

The ‘Anarkali disco Chali’ Sabyasachi Lehenga
Now that you’ve figured out your engagement outfit, it’s time to focus on your Mehendi. Mehendi isn’t something you’d want to go very heavy for, so this Anarkali would be a slick choice.
Khadi makes for an excellent fabric of choice for this Anarkali. It has floral prints all over the body and embroidered borders, accessorised with an embroidered Koti and a tulle dupatta, it’d for sure be a stunning Mehendi look.

Kesribai Pannalal Couture 2018-19
Throwing into the mix some of Sabyasachi’s older looks, I bring forth this stunning masterpiece from the Kesribai Pannalal Couture ( 2018-19 ). Suited for the big fat Indian wedding, the luxurious blue and orange although straying a little further away from the classic red are an excellent option. Pair it with custom made jewellery from the same collection and you really wouldn’t have anything else to worry about.

Pashmina lehengas
I know we said unconventional but isn’t Pashmina taking it way too much? Well, I say NO. One look at this absolutely grand Pashmina Sabyasachi Lehenga and you won’t have any more doubts. Bordered with a mishmash of multiple zarodzi borders, a patchwork zardozi blouse and a splendid dupatta and even, to add to the traditionalism of it a badla odhna this look is one reserved for the elite.
Dil Guldasta
Enough with the unusual, it’s time to bring back the classic florals. I remember when I saw Deepika wear this Sabyasachi lehenga for her post-wedding bash and my heart went all Dil garden-garden ho gya. You’ll fall in love with the macro floral prints intricately embroidered on Bordeaux silk with hand-dyed velvet applique, silk-floss and beaten silver. Given that the lehenga itself is exquisite you’ll need minimal jewellery and makeup.
Charbagh – The Nargis collection
This Sabyasachi lehenga reminds me of fresh blue skies and a wildly overgrown garden with blooming flowers under it, BUT make it luxurious. The soft pastel teal and gilded floral motifs are the highlights of this Sabyasachi lehenga. With typical Sabyasachi plunging necklines, this makes for an elegant choice for your wedding day.
Charbaggh – The Devi collection
I tried so hard to not fangirl about this particular collection but the Padmavati-Esque immaculateness of it sold me. This one is for traditional brides who wish to wear a statement red for their big day.
This particular Sabyasachi lehenga with a relatively simple body has heavy stone and embroidery work on the borders. The same theme flows through the blouse and dupatta as well.
The Shwetambari Sabyasachi Lehenga
As wedding scenes gradually change to destination ones again ( god forbid this new COVID strain ), there’s a drastic change is designs and colour palettes. The Shwetambari lehenga leaning towards pastels is inspired by fading marble courtyards, gathering moss and inlays of uncut diamonds, jade and rose quartz.

Fiza ( Sabyasachi Summer spring collection 2019 ) – The compassionate minty green
This lehenga from Sabyasachi’s summer spring collection is one where subtlety meets boldness and tradition meets modernity. This piece is one for an unconventional bride. Mint green is usually not the colour one would choose for their wedding day but Sabyasachi manages to make even that an exceptional choice.
This Sabyasachi lehenga adorned with heavy zardozi comes with a sheer dupatta also with zardozi stonework on the edges. An old-world lehenga with the new world charm, this lehenga is definitely one of the pieces you should look into.
Neon bride Sabyasachi Lehenga
Even though neon colours have been the biggest trend of the season, Sabyasachi Mukherjee was one of the very few who were brave enough to fuse neon with bridal outfits.

Another one of those finds without which this list would be incomplete. The skirt is a beautiful sea green with vertically placed zari work on it. The blouse and dupatta follow the same theme all over.
Lush Lavender
Lavender was one of the most common colours in bridal lehengas in 2018 and even though it’s been 3 years since then, this Sabyasachi lehenga is, on god one of the most beautiful ones I have seen.

Namaste Easy Sabyasachi Lehenga
I had actually been saving a classic red Sabyasachi lehenga for the last but believe me when I saw this magnificent gold lehenga (on one of the many tabs I had open for research), I couldn’t help myself. The chevron pattern although so simple adds a touch of bohemian aristocracy.
Featuring an oversized border with meticulous zari embroidery and a sheer golden dupatta also with zari border, this lehenga is absolutely ornate. Pair with some heavy jewellery.
